The Vetmaster Tibial Component is a high-performance modular system engineered to restore natural joint line height and reconstruct physiological load distribution across the canine proximal tibia. Fabricated using state-of-the-art SLM 3D-printing technology, the high-strength Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) baseplate features a biomimetic Porous Tantalum bone-interfacing surface. This highly osteoconductive trabecular structure eliminates the need for bone cement, securing rapid and robust primary biological fixation while preserving maximum healthy cancellous bone stock.
The baseplate is paired with a highly wear-resistant Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) liner. To accommodate diverse ligamentous laxity and joint space variations, the liners are offered in precise, progressive thickness offsets (ranging from +0mm to +6mm depending on the baseplate size). This customizable modularity allows orthopedic surgeons to perform meticulous intraoperative soft tissue balancing, ensuring perfect collateral ligament tension and lifelong rotational stability.
