A Legacy of Orthopedic Excellence
The 38th Small Animal Total Hip Replacement (THR) Certification Course, hosted by Vetmaster, has officially and successfully concluded. As a premier clinical training initiative, this program continues to garner significant attention and acclaim from veterinary professionals across the industry. The workshop was led by our distinguished faculty members, Dr. Wu Zhongheng and Mr. Xu Dongxing, both of whom brought decades of clinical expertise and profound academic insight into canine and feline joint reconstruction.
Comprehensive Pedagogy & Clinical Precision
The rigorous curriculum provided an in-depth exploration of the pathological mechanisms of Hip Dysplasia, candidate screening protocols, and implant selection metrics. Beyond theoretical mastery, the course focused on the meticulous deconstruction of critical surgical steps, alongside comprehensive modules on postoperative complication prevention and long-term rehabilitation management.
Through a hybrid model of didactic lectures and live demonstrations, the cohort was able to systematically refine their understanding of THR technology, effectively resolving the complex challenges encountered in clinical practice.

Cultivating Surgical Mastery through Mentorship
During the practical sessions, the cohort engaged in immersive dry-lab simulations. Our mentors provided personalized, real-time guidance, recalibrating surgical techniques and correcting implant positioning nuances to ensure a profound understanding of the procedure.
This intensive, multi-day exchange has empowered a new generation of orthopedic specialists, providing them with a clear clinical roadmap for future surgeries and injecting vital momentum into the advancement of small animal orthopedics.
